I have always been fascinated by the moment when a new guest first arrives to the home. After the greeting, they take a breath and slowly proceed to scan, discover, and visually indulge in your space. This is the moment where they start to understand the more perceptible versions of you.

The goal of the exercise is to create an environment that can demonstrate all facets of the persona. Cultural, Creative, Spiritual, and all variations there of… Translating character through the use of sustainable methods and materials which lend to the design’s authenticity.  I believe that the home should also provoke a certain level of nostalgia, ergo there is often a focus on curating heirloom or collectible pieces in my projects.

Highlighting aspects of travel, global stylistic fusions and history are major points of focus for me. As I acknowledge the beauty of our multicultural society and the richesse that accompanies it, recreating voyage without distance would be how I cross my t’s.
